A first of its kind exhibition outside the United States, “The Elvis Experience” includes over five hundred rare artifacts, documents and photos, many of which have never left the vaults or exhibit areas of Elvis Presley’s Graceland in Memphis. The new exhibition opened on September 5th, in Sao Paulo’s Shopping Eldorado Mall. Elvis fans in Brazil are looking forward to the upcoming 12-week exhibition, with six performances of Elvis Presley in Concert. - Scott Adams

QuemQueQuando: Bebel Gilberto On Tour

Bebel Gilberto's six-city mini tour is set to capture spotlights (and ears) very soon - and in the case of two cities, it'll mark a return performance for 2012.
For instance, fans of the modern-day Brazilian American Diva in Chicago are eagerly anticipating her debut at City Winery on September 14th and 15th (with Paulinho Garcia) after enjoying her Macy's Brazil show earlier this spring. And the Big Apple will welcome Bebel home (she was born there, after all) for shows on September 24th and October 8th, In between are stops in California, Seattle, and Vancouver BC. Shows hve been added in Napa and San Francisco CA.

Brazilian officials were taking notes as they watched how the 2012 London Olympics games played out. Although the overall setup went smoothly, there were a few misfortunes which Brazilian officials noted to avoid in the 2016 games. Needless to say, Brazilian officials and Brazilian residents alike are hoping for a great victory as they prepare for the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympics Games.- Naomi Israel
