More people are listening to The Sounds of Brazil!

This is kind of an ‘inside baseball’ type of report (so please forgive me in advance), but there’s always a big red circle around the last day of the month on the calendar in our broadcast studio, and everyone here knows what it means: Report card time.

Well, the audience numbers for March 2014 are in and I’m very pleased to let you know that – together – we’ve reached a new all-time listening high for The Sounds of Brazil!

More listeners listened longer and more often than any previous month. And we’ve moved into the Top 10 on Live365.com's Jazz station list, too. It’s also our 5th consecutive quarter of growth.

I couldn’t be more proud of everyone involved.

We've recreated the playlist for our very first show for The Sounds of Brazil from April 5th, 1992! Listen Here

I’m especially thankful for you; for tuning in to listen every day while at work, or at home or during your daily commute. And while it may seem like we’re ‘blowing our own horn’ here, what it’s really about is a way to express my sincere appreciation for you, and what it means to me.

And I'm sure that you share my graditude for the musicians who create the music we play. Your enjoyment of their talent and creativity is what makes it all wothwhile.

Coincidently, this week marks the 22nd anniversary for The Sounds of Brazil. This week’s show recreates our very first playlist from April 5th, 1992. Seems like only yesterday.

Days like this one are pretty special. Your support is what inspires me – and the Brazil Club team – to keep doing what we do best.

So, thanks for listening… and ‘stay tuned’ to our websteam for the next big step…
